No project of this scale can exist on its own. And so CCC is immensely grateful to all those people and organisations who have dedicated so much time, care and thought to what it is working to achieve.
Without the support of the community there would be nothing: the people who give up their time and energies to help move everything forward, often for no reward other than that they are dedicated and committed to achieving the very best for their community. So too are all the partners and supporters of CCC who have contributed, and continue to contribute, in so many ways.
made a visit, to dedicate the previously vandalised Cottingley War Memorial, in September 2002 and hosted a wide-ranging community discussion. Community planning sessions facilitated by The Prince's Foundation resulted in the current plans. Prince Charles continues to support the project as his letter demonstrates. He has also made a personal contribution to the project and assisted with the further fundraising needed. His commitment is an immensely valuable contribution to the future of the community in Cottingley.
has been a key supporter of the project through a number of its departments, including Social Services, Regeneration and Asset Management. This support has enabled planning for all the elements of community provision and the commitment of both members and officers has ensured a strong foundation for partnership in the future.
